1. Objectives
In order to exploit the application of mineral spray oil in control of citrus pests and diseases, Total Petroleum (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (TPS) (hereinafter referred to as “Party A”) and the Institute of Tropical & Subtropical Cash Crops Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ITSCC, YAAS)(hereinafter referred to as “Party B”) collaborate in research on the application of mineral spray oils in control of citrus (lemon) pests and diseases and the effect of oils on the plant (phytotoxicity). Party A provides research funds, and Party B conducts field trials in accordance with the Party A’s research protocols. The purpose of the field trials is to provide data and materials for the marketing and promotion of spray oil in control of citrus pests and diseases.
2.1 Research Scope:
2.1.1 Efficacies of mineral spray oils on major citrus pests and diseases；
2.1.2 Evaluation of Comparison of mineral spray oils on citrus growth & development (phytotoxicity) ；
2.1.3 Effects on soil biodiversity of mineral spray oils.
